The iCareTools™ Comments application has Captcha and IP Blocking as optional features that can be turned on or off by you through the management interface. These features can be used to prevent spam using time-bound restrictions.

• Captcha can be enabled for comment submission to prevent automated submission of spam comments.
• IP Blocking (Browser Cookie-based restriction) can be enabled to prevent a user, identified by IP address, from commenting on the same content in a set period of time.
