The iCareTools™ applications support three possible types of authentication for your site visitors. The type of authentication for your site can be configured in the management interface on a site-by-site basis.

Types of Authentication

• Anonymous: Posting and rating of comments can be done anonymously, with no registration required. The poster can enter any name they wish when submitting comments.


• Local Registration/Authentication: User registration is only for the site in question. A username and password is generated as part of the user registration process, in a form that can be customized for that specific site.


• Facebook Connect Authentication: Site visitors can use their Facebook ID and password to login and use iCareTools™ applications.
